“I was very aware that appointing a good Architect would be vital to creating a special outcome and a successful planning application. My initial thought was to limit an architect’s involvement to planning and technical design in order to preserve the maximum budget to deliver a top-quality specification. Thankfully after serious consideration I appointed Mark on a ‘full services’ basis. The design has been spectacular and the way we reside and move around the property is just how Mark described at the design stage. The continued architectural management onsite was surprisingly beneficial. Mark was able to source products, recommend other services and discounts were consequently secured. Importantly, I was able to continue with running my business and was even able to enjoy holidays to break up the intensity of such a significant project. A combination of all of these factors more than covered the architectural fees.
